The application for the first study for the 113th academic year will be received from now until September 30, 2024.
Please take note of the following details:
1.Requirements for application:
(a) Domestic study: Full-time faculty and staff members (excluding pre-appointed teachers) who have been in continuous service for at least two years, and who have passed the previous evaluation of full-time faculty members, and who have received good grades in the previous two academic years of the staff members.
(b) Overseas study: Full-time faculty (excluding pre-appointed teachers and contracted staff) who have served in the University for at least 3 years and have passed the previous evaluation of the teachers, and staff members and teaching assistants who have scored at least a good grade or a grade B on their examinations in the previous 3 academic years are eligible to apply.
2.Forms and Points to Note:
(a)Full-time faculty and staff:
i.For general short-term study and technical study, please submit the "Application for Continuing Education" form (Campus Information System-T.6.0.04 for printing).
ii.Degree candidates: Please submit the " Registration Exam Report Form before applying for the examination, and send it to the Human Resources Office for reference. Students who have been accepted and confirmed to study in the program should submit the " Application for Continuing Education " form to the Human Resources Office for review and approval.
(b)Full-time faculty members with attending physician status and clinical faculty members of affiliates: for general short-term study, technical study, or degree study, should submit the " Application for Continuing Education " form via T.6.0.04. Online Application under the Campus Information System.
3.New faculty and staff after August 1, 2024, who began their studies prior to their appointment with the University should complete the Application for Submission of Continuing Education form.
4.Unapproved further study, once discovered, will be corrected and included in the annual evaluation and promotion.
5.The remaining issues will be handled in accordance with the University's "Implementation Guidelines for the Domestic and Overseas Education of Faculty and Staff".
6.The recommending unit should evaluate the applicant's expertise, study plan, and the effectiveness of teaching, research, and work after the study, and also comment on the Unit's manpower planning during the study period.
