Dear Principal Investigators of NSTC Projects, 

The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) has announced amendments to Article 4 of the "Guidelines for the Employment of Research Personnel under NSTC Subsidized Research Projects." These amendments will take effect on January 1, 2025. The revised provisions are as follows: 

1. Adjustment of the Minimum Monthly Salary for Full-Time Personnel under Research Projects

   The minimum monthly salary for full-time personnel has been revised in line with the 2025 salary adjustment rate for military, public, and teaching personnel as approved by the Executive Yuan. The updated salary standards are as follows: 

   - Associate Degree Level: NT$30,400 

   - Bachelor's Degree Level: NT$36,300 

   - Master's Degree Level and Above: NT$41,500 

2. Contract Renewal and Salary Adjustment for Existing Research Assistants

   Under the new guidelines, if the current salary of full-time research assistants does not meet the revised NSTC standards, please ensure the following is completed between December 1, 2024, and December 23, 2024: 

   - Renew the employment contracts with the affected research assistants. 

   - Complete and submit the "Contract Amendment Application Form" to the Human Resources Office to process the salary adjustments.
