Please be advised that by the proclamation of the Ministry of Labor, starting from January 1, 2024, the monthly minimum wage will be adjusted from NT$26,400 to NT$27,470, and the hourly minimum wage from NT$176 to NT$183. Whereas the minimum standard for the remuneration of full-time assistants will be adjusted accordingly, the salary operations for part-time assistants and temporary workers are as follows:

I. For those whose contract's salary category in the school’s Information Service System is "daily wage" and whose original hourly wage is below NT$183, the system will adjust it directly to NT$183. The labor insurance coverage tier and premium will also be increased accordingly. If the original hourly wage is equal to or higher than NT$183, the system will remain unchanged.

II. For those whose contract's salary category in the system is "hourly wage" and whose original hourly wage is below NT$183, please proceed with resignation procedures to renew the contract from January 1, 2024, onwards.

III. For those whose contract's salary category in the system is "monthly salary," the system will not automatically adjust. Thus the PIs should check whether the hourly wage (total salary divided by total working hours) complies with the regulations or the original salary plan. If not, please reduce the working hours or proceed with resignation procedures to renew the contract from January 1, 2024, onwards.

IV. For those renewing contracts as mentioned above, please complete the registration procedures at the Human Resources Office no later than 3 days before the start of the employment period.
