All fields within Medicinal and Applied Chemistry

Criteria of Applicants

1.         Priority will be given to candidates who can teach Organic Chemistry (with the ability to teach Pharmaceutical Chemistry are especially preferred) or Physical Chemistry, and who are able to coordinate with the department's curriculum planning and offer at least one English-taught course each semester.

2.         Candidates for the Assistant Professorship level should hold a doctoral degree in a Chemistry-related field and have at least one-year of postdoctoral experience; or possess an Assistant Professor Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan

3.         Must demonstrate proficiency in teaching courses using English.

4.         The qualifications for the applicant should follow KMU regulations and meet the requirements for “Scoring Standards for the Appointment and Promotion of Full-time Teachers”.【Natural Biological Biomedical Sciences】

2.         List of publications (Attachment 2)

(1)     A list of major publications (within 5 years).

(2)     The publications within 7 years should be listed as reference publication.

3.         Scoring assessment chart completed according to KMU regulations. (Attachment 3)

4.         One photocopy each of the highest academic degree certificate and related proof of experience. (These include a photocopy of the degree certificate, teacher's certificate, faculty appointment letter, or proof of employment. For academic degrees obtained abroad – authentication documents and transcript are required.)

5.         Research and teaching plans. (Attachment 4)

6.         Proposed courses for undergraduate and graduate programs (including syllabi). (Attachment 5)

7.         Two recommendation letters, including one from the Ph.D. thesis advisor.

8.         Other supporting documents (if any).
