To promote the physical and mental wellbeing of faculty and staff, strengthen family bonds, and foster a greater sense of unity, KMU is proud to host a "KMU Family Day" event. We sincerely invite all colleagues to bring their families to the ballpark, experience the excitement and charm of professional baseball, and enjoy a joyful and energetic weekend together. 

At this event, a senior KMU administrator will serve as the ceremonial first-pitch guest, cheering alongside all staff for the players, demonstrating the solidarity and enthusiastic spirit of the KMU community, and bringing our KMU family even closer together.

• Venue: Kaohsiung Chengching Lake Baseball Stadium
• Gates Open: 1:30 PM
• Ceremonial First Pitch: 3:30 PM (subject to the organizer's official announcement)
• Game Start: 4:05 PM

  Free game tickets will be provided for this event. All eligible colleagues are welcome to register!

  Eligible Participants: Limited to current KMU faculty and staff, including:

• Full-time faculty and staff members
• Attending physicians holding a full-time faculty appointment
• Staff members seconded to the university from affiliated institutions

  Not Eligible:

• Project-based personnel/assistants
• Staff of affiliated institutions
• Staff of related businesses

• Due to the limited number of tickets, please confirm that you are able to attend on the day before registering, so that event resources are used responsibly.
• Selected winners who are absent without justification will be charged a fee to cover the cost of the ticket(s) (calculated based on the actual ticket price).

• The organizer reserves the right to adjust event details and retains final interpretive authority.

1.Recommended attire for the day is the polo shirt distributed for the university’s 71st Anniversary celebration (see left image below).

2.Please remember to bring your ticket when entering the venue on the day. Lost tickets will not be reissued. If you have special seating needs, please coordinate directly with other colleagues on-site.

3.Upon ticket scanning at the entrance, each ticket holder will receive a complimentary gift — a custom U.S.-style License Plate charm ornament (5 designs available; see upper-right image; while supplies last — exchanges or replacements will not be provided after entry).

4.Tickets bearing the “KMU” (高醫) mark may be used to receive a 10% discount on TSG HAWKS merchandise purchases of NT$300 or more (actual discounted items are subject to on-site announcements and rules).

5.Tickets may not be resold, transferred, or used for any commercial purpose.

6.Anyone who is selected in the lottery but fails to attend without justification will be charged the ticket cost (NT$350 per ticket), to be deducted from their salary.

7.Please stay alert for foul balls. You may wish to bring a baseball glove (very important — please pay close attention to your own and your children’s safety!!!).

8.The stadium will be hosting the “Taiwan-America Day” event on July 4–5, with themed pre-game and post-game performances. Everyone is welcome to attend on their own time (July 5 ceremonial pitch + pre-game performance guests, S. Marching Band, Baseball Card Exhibition & Exchange).

9.Summers in southern Taiwan are hot — please use sun protection and stay hydrated, and remember to bring rain gear. Should the game be cancelled on the day due to force majeure, please monitor the official CPBL website for announcements; no separate notice will be given. Please do not request a refund on your own — await further instructions from the Human Resources Office.
